The primary cruiser was sold in 1894, a result of Germany, while the main race — of around 400 km — was held in France a couple of years after the fact. Until the 1950s, the World GP races were held only in Europe and overwhelmed by European makers.
Direct records of riding and hustling bikes during the 1950s. Hence starts this excursion into memory, back to a period that must be known as the Golden Age of Motorcycles. English bicycles - BSA, Triumph, AJS, Matchless, Norton, Velocette- - had attacked streets and race tracks recently overwhelmed by Harley-Davidson and Indians. In the open land encompassing urban areas, bikers were pioneering trails, making Hare and Hound courses. Assuming that there was a standard it was run what ya brought, never mind about protection, licenses, headlights, suppressors, crash caps. There never was when so many were so free on two wheels.
