To make these patterns user-friendly for seamstresses around the world, all patterns include the measurements in Imperial and Metric. Tips on how to properly assemble and stuff the pillows are provided along with detailed cutting and sewing instructions for each of the pillows.

Project One, 'Stars & Stripes Patchwork Pillow', is a dramatic piece of home decor made using brightly-hued scraps of cotton, decorative machine-stitching, and star buttons. Vintage bicentennial fabrics are part of the patchwork, and the designer offers tips for other fabric options in case you do not have access to vintage bicentennial fabrics.

Project Two, 'Old Glory Flag Pillow' features a circle of thirteen buttons on a blue cotton block as a tribute to the original thirteen colonies of the United States.
