Upon arriving in Scotland, I discovered that my luggage had been lost. I stood at the baggage claim area, watching as everyone else retrieved their suitcases, but mine was nowhere in sight. Frustration started to creep in, but I reminded myself to stay positive.

Determined to not let this setback ruin my trip, I decided to explore the city while waiting for my luggage to be found. Little did I know that my sense of direction would fail me miserably. I found myself wandering through unfamiliar neighborhoods, constantly getting lost and having to ask for directions, much to the amusement of the locals.

Scotland is notorious for its unpredictable weather, and I was about to experience it firsthand. As I ventured into the Scottish Highlands, the skies darkened and rain started to pour. Determined to capture the beauty of the landscape, I continued my journey, oblivious to the risks ahead.

This is an honest and extremely funny account of a trip I made to Edinburgh. I could have called This my Rheumatoid Arthritis Diary but It is not about that although I do suffer from it. From the moment I stepped on the Train the journey descended into a nightmare. I went to celebrate my 60th Birthday, going up to Scotland was so bad I wanted to get off the Train, due to a conversation between two old ladies sitting in front of us who told us all the medical complaints of themselves and those close to them. With myself being classed as disabled I have to be careful, but I am also extremely clumsy, this means unfortunate events always happen. Also I take strong medication which I should not drink on, but I did with Disastrous consequences. I also engaged in conversations with the many tourists, in the city some telling hilarious stories of many of the weird and wonderful tales of employment, friends, and the everyday happenings of real life. I interspersed this with accounts of my employment working in supermarkets and my life in general. I have a lot of memories to share and being disabled I thought I would share them with you. The Disabled Community who love to read.
