An auto-rickshaw is the most versatile, dependable, recognizable vehicle on Indian roads. They’re viable to own and operate and are a means of livelihood for millions of Indians. This book is a memoir of the SunPedal Ride Golden Quadrilateral 2019, an awareness journey undertaken by four people on an electric, environmentally-friendly auto-rickshaw which was partially powered using solar energy, across 6000 kilometres of Indian highways.
This book spans the team's travels across the four landmark destinations of the ride, starting from Bangalore, to Mumbai, to Delhi, to Kolkata, and back to Bangalore via Chennai. The goal was to engage with area locals and stakeholders, to foster an attitude of cleaning up the energy consumption in public mobility.
