A melting pot of creeds and cultures with prehistoric temples, hidden coves, rugged coastlines, fishing villages, and turbulent history, Malta has so much to offer. Today Maltese archipelago are a magnet for sunseekers, scuba divers, and party animals from all over the world. Despite cosmopolitan restaurants, pubs, and notorious traffic, the country has a laid back vibe with fortified cities like Valletta and the silent city of Mdina frozen in time. Maltese cuisine with Sicilian and middle eastern influence along with fresh local ingredients like rabbit, fish, olives, capers, and honey provides the meal of a lifetime and often served with a view. From traditional rabbit stew (stuffat tal-fenek) to crunchy pastizzi pastry, the focus is always on preserving the taste and texture of seasonal and fresh ingredients.
