The Hummingbird Hangout is an eco-cabin in Saint Lucia built using traditional local building techniques and using many recycled or upcycled elements. The house is a guest house and has the most amazing view over the Caribbean sea. It is built entirely of wood and is located on a cliff in the middle of wild coastal forest. Rainwater is collected and filtered to provide healthy drinking water and warm water is provided by passive solar water heating on the roof using a coiled irrigation tube. Behind the Hangout are tropical gardens with fishponds, terraced slopes and sculptures. This is a corner of paradise!
