Preparing for the Unknown
Before embarking on this epic journey, Nat and Tim knew that they had to prepare themselves both mentally and physically. Driving a rickshaw for 2000 kilometers through the bustling streets of India certainly wasn't a walk in the park.
They spent months researching the best routes, studying the local customs and traditions, and taking language classes to communicate effectively with the locals. Additionally, they underwent rigorous physical training, ensuring they were fit enough to withstand the demanding conditions they were about to face.
Setting Off on a Rollercoaster Adventure
Finally, the day arrived when Nat and Tim stood at the starting line, their rickshaw adorned with colorful decorations and their spirits high. With a click of the ignition, they set off on a rollercoaster adventure that would take them through the heart of India, from north to south.
The first few days were challenging, as they navigated through chaotic traffic and learned to adapt to the driving culture of India. But as they ventured deeper into the country, they discovered the true beauty that lay beyond the surface.
Unforgettable Encounters
One of the most incredible aspects of their journey was the people they encountered along the way. From curious children running alongside their rickshaw to wise elders who shared stories of ancient traditions, Nat and Tim were touched by the warmth and hospitality of the Indian people.
They were invited into countless homes, where families welcomed them with open arms and served them delicious homemade meals. Each person they met was a reminder of the kindness and generosity that exists in the world.
Challenges and Triumphs
Of course, their adventure was not without its fair share of challenges. They had to navigate treacherous mountain passes, face extreme weather conditions, and conquer their own doubts and fears. But it was through these challenges that Nat and Tim truly grew as individuals, proving to themselves and others that with determination, anything is possible.
And in the end, their triumph was even sweeter. After 45 days of driving, they reached their final destination – the southernmost tip of India. Overwhelmed with a sense of accomplishment, they took a moment to reflect on the incredible journey they had just completed.
A Life-Altering Experience
The adventure of driving a rickshaw 2000 kilometers across India had transformed Nat and Tim in ways they never expected. They had discovered a newfound appreciation for the beauty of human connections, the power of perseverance, and the joy of embracing the unknown.
As they bid farewell to the rickshaw that had carried them through the diverse landscapes of India, Nat and Tim knew that this was just the beginning of their lifelong pursuit of adventure. The road ahead was vast and full of possibilities, and they were ready to seize every moment that came their way.
The Power of Adventure
Nat and Tim's incredible journey is a testament to the power of adventure, daring to step outside of one's comfort zone, and embracing the unknown. It reminds us that there is so much more to life than meets the eye, and that the greatest stories are often found in the most unexpected places.
So, the next time you find yourself dreaming of embarking on an extraordinary adventure, remember the incredible journey of Nat and Tim, who drove a rickshaw 2000 kilometers across India. Let their story inspire you to take a leap of faith, explore new horizons, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Have you ever imagined seeing yourself get lost in the dark, having no clue to find the way out from the middle of nowhere… in an “INDIAN JUNGLE”? This is our biggest and toughest adventure that my husband and I have ever done. Just a few months before this whole thing happened we also had no idea that it was going to be the big adventure for us. We applied to join the “Rickshaw Challenge - Mumbai Express” in India. In this challenge we have to drive the little Indian 7HP (Horsepower) Rickshaw for more than 2000 km across India by ourselves.
Alongside my husband is me, a Thai lady, together with friends from 9 countries. I think many of us have never had this kind of experience before. We all come here for some reasons. Some for finding joy and fun, some for new experiences and some have come here to discover or prove something inside of themselves. Whatever the reason is, it has already brought us all here together. At the beginning it is very easy and fun to drive until the Big Day, the toughest day. Let’s see how it is like to drive the Rickshaw in this long way through the Indian rough road in the monsoon season surrounded by land slides, mass flooding, and chaos.
As a part of this activity, before this rally started my husband and I have raised the fund from our family and friends by the donation and selling the T-Shirt. This has been donated to the hospital for the patients who are suffering from cancer. We would like to say “THANK YOU” to all for supporting this donation. It is a very kind of you and it is a happy moment to see that we are one as a part to help and make a better society.
Now it’s time for an adventure. Hop on the Rickshaw with us. You may drive or you may sit in the back seat. Whatever you like just do it, relax and let’s enjoy the adventure together!
